Description
This class integrates the dynamic, strengthening aspects of Yang yoga with the gentle good stretch qualities of Yin. The Yang portion uses active sequences that elevate heart rate, stimulate circulation, and build muscular endurance, joint stability, and cardiovascular health. The Yin portion focuses on long-held, floor-based postures that gently stress connective tissues, improving joint mobility and nervous system regulation through extended parasympathetic activation.
Beyond the physical, Yin–Yang yoga offers a space to notice the interplay of opposites within yourself: effort and ease, expansion and surrender, activation and receptivity. By moving from dynamic flow into stillness, the practice encourages awareness of how energy shifts in the body and mind, cultivating presence and inner balance.
