Description
This class combines the supportive stillness of Restorative Yoga with the guided relaxation of Yoga Nidra to create profound rest and nervous system reset. In the restorative portion, props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks are used to fully support the body in gentle, sustained postures. These shapes encourage muscle release, improve breath capacity, and signal the parasympathetic nervous system to promote recovery, lower cortisol levels, and enhance immune function.
The practice then transitions into Yoga Nidra, a systematic form of guided meditation that moves awareness through body and mind. Neuroscientific studies suggest this “yogic sleep” state supports memory consolidation, reduces anxiety, and restores balance to the autonomic nervous system.
Beyond physiology, the practice is an invitation to enter the subtle space between waking and sleep—a state of inner stillness where healing, integration, and clarity naturally arise.
You will leave feeling grounded, deeply rested, and more connected to yourself.
Kindly bring mini blanket/scarf and mosquito repellant for enhanced experience.
