This Qigong and Yoga taster will allow you to practice some simple Qigong movement, breathing and intention practices, and apply those in the context of familiar yoga postures and sequences.
Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice, that brings harmony and balance to body and mind, and deepens our sense of connection to the natural world.
Qigong uses a blend of active and dynamic movements, breathing, meditation, visualisation and intention, to help us cultivate a healthy flow of energy throughout the body, without taxing or depleting us.
It has many parallels with yoga, both in terms of its philosophy and its practices.
This is a gentle class, suitable for those with no prior Qigong experience, and just a little prior Yoga experience.
