I teach Seasonal Vinyasa Flow yoga classes in Motherwell and Lanarkshire area. I offer 1-2-1 classes suitable for anyone who is new to yoga or may wish to take their yoga to the next level.
Description
By practicing yoga in the morning It can help to stimulate the digestive system and promotes good digestion for the day ahead and boosts the metabolism;
builds a strong immune system;
balances hormones;
tones your muscles;
improves posture and spine health;
stimulates energy flow;
improves circulation;
supports good heart health;
builds healthy lungs;
and most importantly is proven to calm the nervous system.

All good reasons to practice yoga each morning.

In this class you will learn basic yoga postures, using blocks and props to help with stability and alignment.

You will work with Pranayama and learn new breathing techniques to stimulate a sympathetic nervous system response to increase energy, prepare for exercise, or boost the body’s natural defenses.

Diaphragmatic breathing massages the Vagus Nerve and reduces heart rate, lowers blood pressure, and reduces stress.

Improved breathing can help asthma sufferers and cure insomnia, promoting better sleep and improve your mental health and wellbeing.

The class will finish with a long relaxation/meditation to set you up for the weekend.
