Adi Carter
Attracted to movement and adventure from a young age Adi draws from an extensive background of yoga, Pilates, AcroYoga, slacklining, rock climbing and surfing to inspire her practice and classes. Her yoga training began in 1995 and includes a background in Vinyasa, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Anusara and Jivamukti with a focus on alignment and therapeutics rooted in Thai Massage. She has taught yoga since 2002 and works through group and private settings to hold space for students as they find their path within the practice and connect with their bodies and breath. Currently she is applying a lot of humility, movement and breath work into studying Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and finds constant inspiration from any challenge that reminds her of the beginners mindset. She also likes naps…like, a lot
