As an Army Veteran, I discovered the transformative power of yoga in 2011 when I began practicing Ashtanga. This journey led me to explore deeper dimensions of mindfulness, culminating in my daily practice of Transcendental Meditation since 2015. In 2018, I received my 200-hour yoga teacher certification from the esteemed Sivananda Yoga School in Kerala, India, followed by advanced certifications in Ashtanga (Levels 1 and 2) and a 300-hour yoga teacher certification in 2020, also in India. My goal as a yoga teacher is to create a supportive and inclusive environment where students can explore their physical and mental boundaries, fostering resilience and inner peace. Additionally, as a Vedic astrologer, I integrate the wisdom of astrology into my teachings, helping students connect with their unique energies and life paths. I am passionate about guiding others on their journey to self-discovery and holistic well-being.

Description

This class is inspired by the old adage “You will never find a better teacher than yourself.”

Let’s face it, not everyone has the same needs. We all have different reasons for choosing to take a yoga class and this class honors that. So you never know what this class will bring. Yoga Freestyle allows you to choose what areas you want to focus on or avoid and what intensity level you desire. It’s all about you and the flow is created on the spot.
