Sashely Feliciano
Hi, everyone! My name is Sashely, an architect in training and 200hr certified yoga teacher in
alignment-based Hatha Vinyasa and Restorative Yoga from Inner Wellness Studio, with
continued education in menstrual health and pre-natal yoga. My inspiration to share yoga stems
from a passion for wellness, gentle guidance and holding space for self-discovery, self-care and
reflection through asana, conscious breath, meditation and affirmations in both group and
private sessions. More than a physical practice, to me yoga is a way of life that allows us to
connect to ourselves and the world around us from a place of mindfulness, presence and
self-compassion. This ancient practice has accompanied me in my healing journey for several
years, transforming my mental health and wellbeing in many ways. It is my sincerest intention to
share yoga in hopes that it will empower you to meet yourself in flow with kindness and curiosity.
Classes:
Hatha Vinyasa Yoga where you can expect a balanced flow of movement and breath, combining
gentle and dynamic poses to cultivate strength, flexibility, mindfulness and relaxation.
Restorative Yoga where you can expect slow, gentle poses supported by props to help you
deeply relax, release tension, renewing body, mind and soul.
Sessions are open to all levels of practitioners in Spanish and English. Props and modifications
are encouraged, as well as listening to your body with the freedom to move however you feel
called to.

Description
Yoga Nidra is a deep relaxation and meditation technique that originated in India thousands of years ago. It is also known as “conscious sleep” or “yogi sleep” because it is performed in a state of consciousness similar to sleep, but with the mind awake and alert.
During a Yoga Nidra session, you usually lie in a comfortable position, such as savasana. The practitioner is then guided through a series of visualizations and affirmations to relax the body and mind. The objective is to witness a state of calm and meditative consciousness, where you can obtain greater mental clarity, reduce stress and improve the quality of sleep.
This tool has also been used to treat post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and anxiety.
