Michelle Gordon
Michelle discovered yoga during a significant period of personal change, when she was searching for steadiness and a way to navigate life's challenges. Through a regular yoga practice, she experienced the powerful benefits of mindful movement, breath and meditation, finding a greater sense of balance that extended well beyond the mat.
Inspired by this experience, Michelle deepened her studies, completing extensive training in Hatha Yoga, meditation and Somatic Yin Yoga. Her teaching reflects the grounded, accessible philosophy of Citta Flow, combining mindful movement, breath awareness and relaxation to support whole-person wellbeing.
With many years of experience as an educator, Michelle brings warmth, patience and genuine empathy to every class. She understands that everybody learns differently and creates a calm, welcoming environment where students feel comfortable to move at their own pace, build confidence and reconnect with themselves.
Whether you're new to yoga or returning after time away, Michelle's gentle and encouraging approach helps students feel supported every step of the way.
Description
Slow down. Let go. Rest.
Sometimes your body doesn’t need another workout. It needs a chance to stop.
Restorative Yoga is a deeply gentle practice where your body is fully supported with bolsters, blankets and cushions while you settle into comfortable poses for longer periods of time.
There’s no stretching or striving. Just time to breathe, soften and be still.
We’ll begin with gentle movement and breath awareness before settling into supported poses and a guided relaxation.
This is for you if you’re feeling:
Stressed, busy or overwhelmed
Physically or mentally tired
Like you’ve been running on empty
In need of some quiet time for yourself
Simply craving a slower, gentler practice
No yoga experience needed. Come as you are.
Wear comfortable, warm clothing and bring a yoga mat.
All other props and blankets are provided.
