Description
Abhijata Iyengar refers to the back of the ankles, the achilles tendon area, as the 'hinges'. Learn how opening and lengthening this area can improve your forward bends and standing poses.
This class is appropriate for beginners and intermediate students. Basic actions for standing poses, forward and back bending poses, and inversions will be taught. Modifications will be made as necessary for those new to yoga, injuries, or certain medical conditions. Please have a mat, 3-4 blankets, a bolster, two blocks, a belt and a chair available.
