Come Discover the Magic of Ashtanga Yoga!

Although Ashtanga Yoga has a reputation of being intense, vigorous, and physically challenging, it can also be incredibly healing and soothing for the body, mind, and spirit.

This particular sequence of postures is designed to gradually and systematically open the body, and with consistent practice, creates a natural progression in strength and flexibility. As one learns the sequence and begins to practice it on a regular basis, many subtle but powerful changes can be expected.

Ashtanga Yoga can be seen as a ‘moving meditation’ and is an amazing tool for our times to help us transition from the fast-pace of our busy lives, and allow us to be more grounded and in tune with the present moment. With a healthy balance of discipline and softness, this practice can serve as an anchor; a strong system of support through all the inevitable ups and downs of life. So come join us, and experience the magic of this practice for yourself!

In this workshop, Elise will first guide you through the primary series (with lots of room for modifications!!) and after a short break, we will dive into some of the important theories behind why we do what we do!
This workshop is for ALL LEVELS. Whether you're a total beginner or are a dedicated practitioner!
