What we do best!! This is our signature class ~ we are big advocates for restorative practice here at DustOff. This divine practice is perfect for everyone and we believe is the key to helping us all discover more physical, mental and emotional freedom. Life can be chaotic! Sometimes you’ve got to slow everything way down…. When your life is racing full speed ahead, so is your mind. Restorative yoga helps provide that physical and mental balance to prevent stress and anxiety. This mellow, slow moving practice uses a variety of props to fully support you. The longer holds give your body a chance to experience deeper relaxation. This is about allowing yourself to unfurl, unwind & untangle. The goal of this practice is to break through internal barriers, releasing the untapped energy residing within you and bring you higher self-awareness and ease. This practice may incorporate binaural sound therapeutics with guided meditation throughout the practice and with extra special touches like aromatherapy and heated or cooling eye pillows. You will leave feeling profound ease.
This amazing practice is effective for stress management, anxiety, chronic pain, hypertension, cardiac arrhythmia and symptoms related to chronic illness or cancer…It’s also great for self-care. Come get comfortable & feel the benefits!
60 min class All levels *Note* As the nervous system relaxes and the heart rate slows the body temperature lowers and you may need additional layers to maintain comfort. Please dress comfortably and bring/wear socks for this practice

Description
When learning yoga, many people begin with vinyasa practice with quick flowing postures. It can be easy to move quickly and without precision between postures in a fast paced class. Here we unpack and rebuild the postures and simple sequences to help you understand the physical mechanics of your poses. Pose Lab is for anyone wanting to explore how the physical body is optimally aligned in yoga practice. Each lab will focus on a different pose or body part, how the muscles work in action and corrective options to create more balance in the body, growing the ability to land a posture with precision and grace. You will learn techniques and modifications to prepare for sequences and perform them in a safer more effective manner specific for your body and ability.

SPECIAL EVENT!!
The Full Moon symbolises a time for reflection, releasing and letting go. The class will start with a slow flowing yoga sequence which will allow settling of the body and mind in preparation for Yoga Nidra Meditation & the opportunity afterwards to journal & open up a conversation in a friendly & warm space with like-minded people.
What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice also known as “yogic sleep” that allows your body to deeply relax while your mind turns inwards falling into a state of deep awareness.
From here, over time we can be healed, restored and awakened to our deepest, all-knowing, all-welcoming self.
Yoga Nidra is great for anyone who struggles to let go (isn’t that the majority of us?).
As we learn to deeply relax our body we can start to release emotions and experiences rooted in our subconscious and come to new understandings or resolutions.
*Please wear warm clothing and cozy socks, as the nervous system calms and slows the body cools. Yogi tea will be provided ~please bring a mug*
This class is appropriate for anyone regardless of experience. Join us for this special event to release and restore!
