Yin yoga is a deeply restorative practice where poses are held for several minutes at a time with the support of props. This stillness allows the body to slowly release built-up tension and access deeper layers of relaxation.
While the shapes are simple, the practice can be challenging for the busy mind. Over time, though, the mind begins to settle, becoming more comfortable with stillness. As the body softens and opens, it creates space for energy to move more freely through the system.
