Description
Ashtanga yoga is a rather dynamic and energetic style of yoga and is a foundational practice of modern vinyasa. It was first brought to the West by Pattabhi Jois and the practice was passed down to him from an ancient text. Although the Ashtanga system includes six asana sequences, we will focus on the Primary Series in this class. Primary Series is also known as Yoga Chikitsa or Yoga Therapy and is designed to detoxify and realign the body. This set sequence includes sun salutations (surya namaskar a and b), standing postures, seated postures, and a finishing sequence, with all poses synchronized with the movement of breath.
Although this class can be challenging and physically demanding, Rachel strives to make it playful and accessible, but she does recommend some previous yoga experience.

Description
This one-hour class will take you on a journey through the asanas, beginning with grounding breathwork and a gentle warm-up, heating things up from the inside out with sun salutations then continuously building on the sequence to reach a crescendo in the form of a challenging peak posture. You'll be slowly brought back down through deep opening postures into a final savasana (resting posture). The class will emphasize breath synchronicity and proper alignment, as well as modifications for accessibility to all. The room will be heated to increase deep muscle engagement and detoxification through sweat.

Description
This playful movement-based class is a fusion of yoga, dance, cardio, and targeted strength training. Through primal movement, dynamic asana and cardio-sprints, students break down the emotional barriers that hold them back from achieving self-love and true human connection. Upbeat dance music guides the class like an internal GPS. The beat blended movement forces you out of your head and into your body. It is in this magical place that you integrate your human experience instead of escaping it. All formats incorporate elements of shaking + vibration to help release stored trauma and stimulate cellular reorganization.
