What if we make Christmas gifts this year creative, hand-made, sustainable, green and easy to enjoy and find room for in every home?
The project, lead by the exquisite herbarium artist, Heather VanWinkle Heather VanWinkle of Herbarium HLV Greeting Cards, is your very own wall herbarium.
After a short meditation to open ourselves to beauty and an introduction to what makes a great herbarium, if the weather permits, we will start with an experiential walk through Župa countryside. We will search for beauty and inspiration in the fine details of nature. We will be collecting elements for our own piece of art.
Following our walk, Heather will show us how to assemble these beautiful natural paintings to create your own story with it. We will put our prayers, love and good wishes into the art, so when someone opens their gift this Christmas they will know them instantly.
Registration mandatory, workshop space is limited, children old enough to sit and work on the project with you are welcome. Cost includes materials.
