Essential Oils We Used:
To deepen our connection to the breath and energy during practice, here’s how we integrated essential oils into each part of the session:
Preparation for Practice:
Deep Blue: To release tension in the body.
Dilute with coconut oil for better absorption and apply to shoulders and lower back.
Starting the Class:
To balance your energy:
Balance Oil: Apply to the bottoms of your feet and inhale deeply into your palms.
To uplift your mood or energy:
Wild Orange Oil: Apply to your chest and inhale deeply into your palms.
Pranayama Practice:
To open the airways and enhance your breath:
Air Blend (or Peppermint): Apply to the chest and inhale into your palms. Be mindful not to touch your eyes.
Savasana Relaxation:
To support deep relaxation and calm the nervous system:
Lavender or Balance Oil: Apply to your temples and neck, and inhale during Savasana.
