Liz Ridgely
Liz has been practicing yoga for most of her life. Her own experiences with early childhood trauma and an ongoing back injury deepened and informed her yoga practice. She is currently continuing her studies completing a 500 hour RYT certification from Siddhi Yoga.  Liz’s teachings are inspired by mother nature, the divine feminine and the wisdom of the body. Her sequences and meditations guide students to step out of the thinking space and instead observe sensations. Through asana, meditation and self inquiry we can learn to listen to our inner knowing and connect with the energy that brings us all together. Her hope is to share the ancient teachings of yoga in a way that allows practitioners to honor their body and live from a heart centered space.

Description

In this gentle yet profound practice, we slow down and hold postures for longer periods, inviting the body to release deeply held tension and find stillness. Yin Yoga focuses on the connective tissues—like ligaments, joints, and fascia—inviting a deep sense of openness and healing.

Designed with a therapeutic, trauma-informed approach, this class creates a safe space where you can connect to your body without judgment or expectation. It’s perfect for those seeking relaxation, emotional release, and a moment of peace within their day. We will work mindfully to release physical and mental blockages, bringing balance, calm, and a sense of grounded presence.

All levels are welcome—whether you're new to yoga or have a long-time practice, this class offers a supportive and nurturing environment for deep rest and rejuvenation.

*This class offers hands-on adjustments, consent cards are used to share your preference, which you can change at any time during class*
