Sheila Shea
Sheila’s yoga journey began in 1999 with a prenatal class in Seattle while she was pregnant with her first daughter. Though she practiced for over a decade, it was her move to India in 2012, where she lived and immersed herself in yoga, that transformed it into a way of life. In India, she shed her Western perspective and deepened her understanding of the practice, experiencing yoga as both a physical and spiritual journey. Back in the U.S., Sheila completed her 200-hour RYT at 3 Bridges Yoga in Portsmouth, NH in 2019 and has been teaching ever since. Seeking deeper training connected to the subtle body, she returned to India in 2024 to study Embodied Movement with Praveen Nair, completing her 300-hour RYT in Rishikesh.
