Melissa Atkinson

What began as a way to move my body has become a way to reconnect with myself. I found yoga and fell in love with the practice as it helped me slow down, check in with myself, and take better care of my body mind.
My classes focus on mindful movement, breath, and doing what feels good in your body, not forcing poses or chasing perfection. I care deeply about creating a space where people feel comfortable showing up as they are, whether that means taking breaks, modifying, or simply moving at their own pace.
To me, yoga is about building awareness, trusting yourself, and leaving class feeling a little more grounded than when you walked in and that’s the space I intend to create each time I teach.
