Description
It's that special time of the year when lightness and darkness are in balance. At a time when things can seem super busy and out of balance, join us for a special, restorative yoga and nidra practice.
We will spend the first 25 minutes of the class engaging in breathwork and soft, gentle stretching, followed by a deeply restoring 20 minute guided savasana (yoga nidra) for the remaining 25 minutes. You will leave the class feeling as though you have been at a spa day, refreshed, balanced and ready to take on anything, just what you need in the run up to the holiday break!
It would be helpful to have a yoga bolster and yoga bricks for this class: If you do not own any yoga props, you can use a sofa cushion or firm pillow in place of a bolster, and a few large, hardback books (recipe books can work quite well!) I will also show a 'no prop' alternative to each pose, so don't worry if you don't have any props!
If you've been meaning to try a yoga nidra practice before, this is a perfect introduction to the practice, following a movement-based practice!
