Alex specialises in yoga for pregnancy & post pregnancy and she teaches on Fridays and Sundays.
She is keen to create a space to build community, help reduce loneliness for new mums & support the wide spectrum of pregnancy experience including loss and abortion.
Description
A yoga class to help the mothers take some space. We have recently changed this class to an adult only environment, to support you to lay the responsibilities of home life at the door. We are welcoming in pregnant people, those with tiny babies and those that had their children many years ago; if you’ve experienced loss or abortion; if you’re a carer. However it is for you to Mother - you are so welcome here. This is a space for you to be tended to and receive care and connection.
This class is designed to support our ever changing bodies as we move through all phases of Motherhood. We rest deeply.
This class is to bring all of our experiences of Motherhood together and there will be variations offered to best support you in the moment.
I hope this class offers some really needed time to yourself but if you would like to bring your baby please contact us to arrange a one to one or two to one if you would like - we really want to support you in this time!
The small class size makes sure that you receive individual attention.
We support the pelvic floor and core and offer release for constricted areas; we work with the breath to bring a sense of spaciousness and ease. If you’re pregnant all movement will be there to support you and help in the birth of your baby. We believe postpartum care should extend for many years after birth.
Each class finishes with a long period of fully supported rest through the use of props or yoga nidra.
