About Heart Centred Space Yoga
At Heart Centred Space (HCS), we offer a variety of yoga practices, from Candlelight Yin, Yoga Foundations to Energizing Vinyasa. We are experienced instructors who are genuinely passionate about sharing the magic of yoga. We have taught at some of the top studios in Nanaimo and Toronto—and now, bring our unique approach (and a whole lot of heart) to this special space.
We’re thrilled to offer WARM (not hot) YOGA—because some of us love a little heat, but not too much! Our studio is gently heated to 28–32 degrees, depending on the practice. More active classes stay around 28 - 30 degrees for a refreshing warmth, while Yin and Restorative sessions are cozier at 32 - 34 degrees—like a big, comforting hug for your muscles.
For us, yoga is more than just movement—it’s a chance to turn inward, let the outside world drift away, find presence and connect with yourself. We love creating fun, safe, and thoughtfully designed sequences that blend movement, breath, meditation, and mindfulness. Whether you’re here to challenge yourself, find peace, or just take an time for YOU, we’re honored to be part of your journey.
