Hey Haarlem,
I'm Daniel, and I'm really looking forward to connecting with you all.
Having moved here just under a year ago, I'm excited to weave my practice into the fabric of this community here at Homi.
Yoga, for me, is more than just postures; it's a way of exploring our inner landscape and finding practical tools for living well. My own path started from a place of seeking balance amidst a demanding life period, and I quickly realised the profound impact that linking breath, movement, and mind could have.
As a teacher, my intention is to hold a safe and brave space where you feel empowered to explore your potential. We'll use movement to build awareness, breathwork to shift energy and find calm, and moments of meditation to cultivate clarity and presence. I love integrating insights from both traditional practices and modern understanding, always connecting what we do on the mat back to how we live our lives off the mat.
Whether you're stepping onto the mat for the first time or have an ongoing practice, my classes – from dynamic flows to deep rest, meditations and dedicated breathwork – are an invitation to listen inward, be patient with yourself, and discover your own unique strength and stillness.
I’m genuinely excited to share this practice with you at Homi.
Come as you are!
Sunly,
Daniel.
Description
Let's transition from the day into the evening together. In this class, we'll move dynamically, linking breath with each shape we make on the mat. Expect sequences designed to build some warmth and strength, while also inviting fluidity and release. It’s a chance to shake off the day's energy and arrive fully in your body before the evening unfolds.
Why you might love it: Perfect for releasing the day's tension and revitalising your body and mind before settling into the evening.
All levels welcome!

About Me as a Yoga Teacher
My journey as a yoga teacher is rooted in deep exploration and dedication. Over the past three years, I have immersed myself in modern Vinyasa yoga with Simon Park, Claudia van der Tier, and Daphne Koken, Hatha yoga at Bilva, and mobility and flexibility training with Matthew Smith. These practices have shaped my approach, blending dynamic movement with mindful alignment and intelligent sequencing.
I am profoundly influenced by Taoist philosophy, especially the concept of Wu Wei—the art of effortless action. Wu Wei teaches us to move in harmony with life’s natural rhythms rather than forcing or resisting change. In my yoga flows, this translates into a practice that feels intuitive, fluid, and sustainable, helping practitioners cultivate ease and presence both on and off the mat.
Beyond movement, sound and vibration are integral to my teaching. With more than 7 years of experience in playing and composing music within spiritual communities in my homeland Venezuela, I have woven the power of sacred sound and mantra into my yoga practice. Whether through live music, chanting, or the rhythm of the breath, I guide students toward a deeper connection with their inner landscape.
My classes are an invitation to explore balance, flow, and deep presence, creating space for transformation in body, mind, and spirit.
Description
A steady 60-minute practice designed to awaken your center and let movement flow from a place of strength. We’ll build deep core awareness—not just abs, but the whole energetic hub—creating stability, lightness, and freedom in every asana. Because let’s be honest… no core, no asanas—and that’s where the magic begins. Root down, rise up, and move with ease from your strong center.

Yoga=Life.
Jai!
Quite the mind, open the heart- Ram Dass
Liefs,
Eva
Description
Start your morning off right with a slow early morning flow. In a Vinyasa class we connect breathing with the different yoga postures. We will perform the asanas (postures) to the rhythm of the music.
Unconsciously we tend to carry stress in our bodies. Yoga can help you to consciously release that tension. You will notice that you feel freer in your body and that your mind becomes calmer. With the help of meditation, sounds, scents and a safe warm environment you can let go of everything and start the day off right!
All levels welcome!

Self and body awareness are essential parts of both my personal and professional life. As an educator, university lecturer, and practitioner, I help people connect with themselves on a deeper level to discover their own reality and inner calling.
My holistic approach is rooted in neuroscience and blends a variety of practices and tools, including body-oriented work, meditation, and journaling. Everything I teach, I also practice in my own life. Following a period of severe burnout, I used these tools to systematically restore my nervous system and realign my career path with what truly matters to me.
Oh, and I’m also a big fan of Ashtanga yoga.
BODY-CONNECTION
What if I told you that your body knows more about you than your conscious mind? Sounds a bit wild, right? But it’s true. Our connection with the body is essential—not only for understanding its subtle signals but also for healing emotional blocks, working through trauma, and making everyday decisions with greater clarity.
Body-Connection is a holistic class designed to soothe the nervous system, grounded in neuroscience. It’s a slow and mindful process that supports you in connecting—or reconnecting—with your body and the deep knowledge it holds.
JOURNALING MEDITATION
If you're feeling stuck, indecisive, or overwhelmed by your thoughts and emotions, Journaling Meditation can offer a grounding path toward greater clarity and ease in your daily life.
This practice blends the healing power of journaling and meditation, creating space for reflection and emotional release. It helps you take a nurturing step back from challenges, making it easier to recognize and let go of outdated beliefs that no longer serve you.
Combining Journaling Meditation with Body-Connection or other grounding practices like yoga can deepen the experience and support your overall well-being.

I was looking for something that could help me feel more connected to myself and yoga gave me a sense of calm and presence that I hadn’t felt before. More I practiced, more I realized how much it helped me connect with myself on a deeper level and present.
Hatha Yoga and Stress Release i do.
Hatha is all about moving with awareness, focusing on breath, posture, and alignment. You gonna find a flow Hatha class and holding postures, to feel grounding and connecting. The Stress Release class uses a strip as a support to help release deep muscular tension, promote relaxation, and calm the nervous system through gentle, restorative movements.
I want people to feel good in their bodies and take a break from all the noise outside. Finding movement or stillness, my goal is to help them feel more grounded, present, relaxed and feeling comfortable during the practice.

Description
Through the combination of EFT, Meditation and Reiki, you reach a deeper layer of relaxation, where healing takes place on all levels. Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a simple yet powerful method where we use affirmations and tapping on acupressure points to calm your nervous system and reset your mind. We neutralize negative emotions and beliefs and take your body out of the survival mode (sympathetic nervous system; fight/flight response) of our often busy daily lives. You feel more in touch with yourself, your essence and others and you can really concusiously live, enjoy and choose direction instead of surviving. Reiki then stiulates the body’s self-healing ability through gentle touch.

Description
In my classes, I combine classical and modern Pilates, adding my own personal touch.
My focus is on strengthening the core muscles, improving flexibility, and increasing body awareness.
Each body is different, and your body may respond differently to each workout. I want to encourage both men and women to trust their own bodies.
In my classes I invite you to connect to your body, move with intention and tap into your inner strength.
All levels are welcome!

Description
This gentle floor-based class invites you into a slow, mindful rhythm where breath and movement merge effortlessly. Inspired by the Taoist principle of *Wu Wei*—the art of non-doing—each posture unfolds naturally, without force. Like a moving meditation, this practice calms the nervous system and brings harmony to body and mind. Ideal after a long day, it's a soft space to unwind, release tension, and simply flow. Suitable for all levels, especially beginners."

Sunly,
Daniel.

Yoga entered my life at 17 and quickly became a deep passion. It has been a constant presence ever since. I am trained in Raja Yoga and continue to deepen my practice, as yoga is an endless journey for me.
My classes are an invitation to discover balance. Yoga is a journey to yourself, and I would love to walk that path with you.
Description
Hatha and Yin Yoga combine to create a balanced practice that reflects the harmony of opposites: yang and yin, activity and stillness. Hatha Yoga builds strength and alignment, emphasizing mindful breathing and holding postures to cultivate awareness and connection. Yin Yoga complements this by inviting relaxation and introspection, holding poses longer to target deeper connective tissues and stimulate the energetic body.
Hatha yoga is the traditional yoga practive and the base from which other yoga styles have orginated. We focus on the foundation: mindful breathing and postures that ground and align us.
In Yin yoga you will stay a little longer in the pose to strengthen and lengthen the deeper connective tissues. You will come into the pose to a specific depth in which you feel enough sensation while you can relax at the same time.

Description
Hatha Yoga represents the union of opposites, with ‘Ha’ symbolizing the sun and ‘Tha’ the moon. These energies reflect the balance between masculine and feminine forces within us: strength and activity meeting softness and receptivity. Through the practice of Hatha Yoga, we harmonize these complementary energies.

You’ll hold poses for a bit longer, focusing on proper alignment and cultivating awareness. Throughout the class, we alternate between powerful and relaxing postures, in combination with conscious breathing. This practice fosters a sense of connection, flow, strength, and clarity.
