Description
Yin yoga is a therapeutic style of yoga where asana/poses are practiced on or lower to the ground for gravity to help go deep in poses. Focus is placed on the breath as an important integration to allow the body to unwind and to release tension. Poses are held for longer duration than dynamic styles inviting calming intentions to harmonize mind and body. This style offers healing benefits resting the body, creating space and promoting a freer flow of prana that aids injury recovery and self-healing.
