Shannon Banfield
Shannon is a yoga instructor trained in Hatha, Vinyasa, & Yin Yoga, with a deep devotion to somatic, experiential movement as a way of life. Her classes honour yoga as more than a physical practice. Weaving breath, sensation, subtle awareness, and intentional transitions to cultivate intimacy between mind, body, and inner listening. Drawing from traditional foundations while embracing intuitive, modern flow, Shannon offers practices that feel both grounded and quietly ceremonial. Each class is held with clear intention (sankalpa), prioritizing safety, reverence, and self-trust. Through simple ritual and spacious pacing, students are invited to cross a gentle threshold into presence. A safer space to listen inward, honour your own unique rhythm, and meet yourself exactly where you are. Shannon’s teaching is rooted in presence, devotion, and remembrance; of the body’s wisdom, individual truth, and our shared interconnectedness. Come as you are. The practice meets you there.
