This is a Fortnightly session with a family session on the first Sunday of each month.

A FREE calming, sensory-aware yoga and movement session designed specifically for parent with SEN children aged 6-12.

Join us for a fortnightly class that blends gentle movement, breathwork, and mindfulness to support emotional regulation, body awareness, and connection. This class is rooted in empathy and care — led by a trauma-sensitive, SEND-parent and SEND-trained instructor.

Children are invited to move at their own pace, with access to a soft sensory corner for quiet time when needed. Each session is small, safe, and consistent, helping children feel calm, seen, and supported.

💡 Important Details
This class is exclusively for SEND children aged 6–12.
FREE to attend, thanks to community support and local partnerships (Your donations and/or attendance help keep us going)

Held in a quiet, private area at North Harrow Library.
Sessions are first come, first served – spaces are limited for comfort and safety.

🤝 Parent/Carer Participation
Parents or carers are encouraged to participate (One parent/carer per child). A calm space and refreshments will be available nearby. We’re here to build a community of care — for your child and for you. Limited mats available on site. Kindly bring items of comfort for child - cushion, blanket, or a toy.

If you can't attend for any reason, please remember to cancel so someone else is given the opportunity to join. Any no shows will lead to all future bookings being automatically cancelled so the space can be re-allocated.

A calm, sensory-aware parent & child yoga and movement session for families with SEND / neurodivergent children (ages 6–12).

This weekly 60-minute class blends gentle movement, breathing and simple mindfulness to support:
Emotional regulation
Body awareness
Confidence and connection

Led by a trauma-sensitive instructor who is SEND-trained and a SEND parent, this session is designed to feel predictable, respectful and pressure-free.

Children can join in at their own pace, take breaks when needed, and use a quiet sensory corner for regulation time.

Cost: FREE (Sport England funded)
Venue: North Harrow Library (quiet/private area)
Group size: Limited spaces to keep it calm and safe
Booking: Released in 5-week blocks (same time each week)
Spaces are first-come, first-served.

Who attends
One parent/carer per child (parents are encouraged to participate)
This is not a “perfect behaviour” space. It’s a regulation space.

What to bring
If you have one: your own mat (limited mats on site)
Any comfort item your child likes: cushion / blanket / small toy (no noisy toys please)

Register (one-time form + waiver)
Please complete the booking form and Inner Light waiver before your 24 hours before your first session. If we do not receive this your place will be cancelled and offered to another family.

If you can’t attend, please cancel your space so another family can join. No shows will lead to all subsequent bookings being cancelled.
