Parent & Child Regulation Sessions · Ages 0–5
A 5-week programme of gentle, sensory-aware movement sessions for babies, toddlers and their parents or carers, held in the soft play space at Harrow Leisure Centre.
Sessions draw on co-regulation, gentle movement and breathwork to support early emotional development, body awareness and the connection between parent and child.
The soft play environment is used as a regulation space - not a play-led free-for-all. Sessions have a calm, predictable structure that helps young children feel safe and settled. Parents and carers participate throughout.
There is no pressure to perform or participate in any particular way. Babies can be held, fed or rested. Toddlers can move at their own pace.

Led by a regulation practitioner, SEND-specialist and SEND parent.
Sessions are structured to feel predictable, calm and pressure-free - designed specifically for children who may be sensitive to noise, transitions or unfamiliar environments.
The parent or carer participates alongside their child throughout. You are not a bystander - you are the calm anchor your child needs to feel safe in the room.

A blanket or small comfort item for your child.
A muslin or change of clothes for babies.

Move Together Club
Funded by Sport England · Free to attend
A weekly regulation session for SEND and neurodivergent children aged 6–12, attended with their parent or carer. Sessions combine gentle movement, breathwork and sensory-aware practice to support emotional regulation, body awareness, and connection between parent and child. This is not a performance space. There is no right way to participate. Children are welcome to move, observe, rest, or take breaks throughout. A quiet sensory corner is available at every session. Regulation comes before participation. Always.

Day and time: Sunday mornings
Session length: 60 minutes
Cost: Free - funded by Sport England's Movement Fund
Age range: 6–12
Group size: Intentionally small to protect the calm environment

Booking
Sessions are released in 5-week blocks at a consistent weekly time.
Each booking is for one parent or carer and one child. Siblings require a separate booking with their own accompanying adult.
Spaces are first-come, first-served and fill quickly.
To secure your place, complete both steps:

What to bring
Your own yoga mat if you have one - a small number are available on site if needed. A comfort item your child finds regulating (cushion, blanket, small toy - please avoid noisy or messy items). A water bottle. No food allowed during sessions.

Attendance
If you cannot attend, please cancel as early as possible so another family can take the space. Repeated no-shows may result in future bookings being cancelled. Sessions are funded and every space matters.

For professionals
Inner Light sessions are regulation-led movement support for neurodivergent children. They may be suitable for families supported by SENCO teams, EHCP services, Short Breaks or Core Offer programmes, and social care or family wellbeing services.
