Description

The first years of motherhood can be both exciting and challenging.
Yoga for mums is the perfect way to nurture and reconnect with yourself physically, mentally, and spiritually, and to share experiences with other mums in a safe and supportive space.
The practices are aimed at mobilising the spine, strengthening the core – the pelvic floor, back muscles, and deep abdominal muscles, improving spinal and pelvic alignment, opening the chest, and relieving the shoulders and neck.
Each class also provides mothers with tools to calm the nervous system and reduce stress, such as breathing techniques, Mudras (hand gestures), and meditation.
All mums welcome (not just post-partum) – this class is a moment just for you (without your baby/child) to move, recharge & connect with other mums.
Important: classes are suitable 6-8 weeks postpartum if you had a vaginal delivery, or 8-10 weeks if you had a C-section birth. As a precaution, please consult your physician before joining the classes.
