Sol Perrault
Sol is a Canadian yogi trained in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and functional anatomy and physiology, who has been supporting students through self-discovery for over 7 years. Her curiosity as a teacher is fueled by the body’s ability to shapeshift and support our daily requirements which translates on the mat as fun, dynamic movement! Inspired by her own healing experience, Sol’s guidance in class focuses on feeling and deeply tuning in to the experience by paying particular attention to the connective tissue in order to move with more ease on and off the mat.
Description
Yin Yang Yoga
Discover the balance between effort and ease in our Yin Yang Yoga class. The practice begins with a flowing Yang sequence designed to build strength, improve mobility, and cultivate focus through mindful movement and breath. This active portion of the class helps create warmth in the body, release tension, and prepare you for deeper relaxation.
In the second half of the class, you'll transition into the nourishing stillness of Yin Yoga. Postures are held for longer periods, allowing the body to gently release, improve flexibility, and target the deeper connective tissues. As the pace slows, you'll have the opportunity to settle into a state of calm, rest, and restoration.
By combining movement with stillness, Yin Yang Yoga offers a well-rounded practice that leaves you feeling balanced, grounded, and refreshed—energised by movement and restored through relaxation.
Suitable for: All levels, including beginners.
Benefits: Improved strength, mobility, flexibility, balance, relaxation, and overall wellbeing.
