Join me for this deeply relaxing and restorative experience. We will use bolsters and blankets to support the body in postures to unwind tension, leaving you feeling recharged and refreshed. Calming, healing frequency music will induce balanced states of mind and energy. Finally, I will lead you into a guided meditation while in a resting pose.

Nidra- Sleep. Yoga Nidra- divine sleep. Assist in shifting the body to parasympathetic nervous system to restore the body to balance. Puts you in touch with the innermost (anandamaya) kosha and Purusha (pure consciousness within).

The autonomic nervous system (ANS) is responsible for regulating the body's unconscious actions. 2 parts
parasympathetic system- responsible for stimulation of "rest-and-digest" or "feed and breed" activities that occur when the body is at rest, especially after eating, including sexual arousal, salivation, crying, urination, digestion and defecation.
Sympathetic nervous system- responsible for stimulating activities associated with the fight, flight or freeze response.
