Description
Join us in the studio for this workshop with guest instructor Angelina Fox!
What does it mean to be healthy? How do we know which foods are truly good for us? What do we do when we feel stressed and tired with no options? The science of Ayurveda can help!
Finding wellbeing can be hard with lots of conflicting information out there. The magic of Ayurvedic practices allow each individual to discover the right path for them and to feel more connected, balanced and vibrant. Support and restore body and mind by tapping in to your inner wisdom!
In this workshop we will explore an introduction to Ayurveda (the diet and lifestyle part of yoga) including;
• the 5 elements
• the 3 doshas (biological humors/constitutions) and their qualities
• daily practices to help with stress and for better sleep
• how to choose nourishing foods for your constitution for smooth digestion
Please wear comfortable clothing including a shirt you can roll the sleeves past the shoulders and pants you can roll up past the knees or shorts.
This workshop counts as 1.5 hours toward Yoga Alliance continuing Education Credit for YA Registered Yoga Teachers.
