Niamh Colfer
Niamh teaches Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga & Restorative yoga as well as mixed movement workshops, strength training, myofacial release and yoga masterclasses.
Niamh is a fully qualified personal trainer, yoga teacher RYT-500 and strength and conditioning coach working since 2015 both online and from her new state of the art geodesic dome gym / yoga studio on the Hook Peninsula where she works with clients one to one and in semi private groups.
With a focus on alignment and mobility Niamh uses a variety of training styles including yoga, gymnastics, mobility development, breath-work, resistance training using weights and bands as well as body weight training.

A Summer Solstice Day Retreat for your doshas at the Secret Garden
The Summer Solstice has always been a time of celebration. It offers a powerful opportunity for healing and renewal so join us for this very special Solstice retreat to balance and recharge your life force energy in nature.
Enjoy a full day of nourishment for mind & body, learning the beautiful ancient philosophy of Ayurveda. We learn and understand each constitution by moving through yoga practices to balance the doshas, we will do creative activities to connect to the elements and be nourished with delicious lunch, juices and desert.
A day of trying different styles of yoga such as Hatha, kundalini and yin yoga with gentle assists and fun variations to try, widening your range of practice in addition to meditation, relaxation and breathwork.
Have a day just for you to unwind, restore, revive! Renew yourself and give time just to tune into the elements within and around you. Try new movement and meditation, meet like-minded people and leave feeling refreshed and content!

During this day retreat you will:
Enjoy Ayurvedic talks, creative activities, yoga while learning all about dosha’s & your unique constitution.
Learn how to bring yourself back into balance with Yoga, meditation, breath-work, rituals and self care practices for your wellbeing.
Eat delicious, organic and fresh vegetarian food and juices.
Receive a goody bag full of surprises on the day too.
ALL WELCOME, even complete beginners. If you have any injury or are pregnant please let us know before attending. No prior experience needed.
Schedule for the day
Arrive 10:30am - Freshly squeezed juice tasters on arrival and a tour around the gardens
10:45am - Welcome to the dome breath-work meditation
11am - Introduction to the doshas / take the dosha survey & learn the meaning behind each dosha & how it relates to your own personal make up
12noon - Yoga for each dosha / learn how your practice affects each dosha & how you can bring awareness & balance to your yoga practice
1:30pm - Vegetarian lunch in the garden or marquee cooked with the freshest local and on site ingredients for an overall balancing & healing meal (all vegetarian & gluten free)
2pm - Mindfulness barefoot walk & breathing exercise in the garden to aid digestion
2:15pm - Creating an elemental wall hanging or cordage bracelet out of natural materials. We provide lots of materials to choose from but you can also bring your own bits that you can weave into your own piece
2:45 - A slow flow and yin yoga sequence for the doshas in the dome or garden
3:30pm - Juices and raw vegan desserts to close
