Our vinyasa flow class is a mixed level dynamic class that synchronises movement and breath in a continuous flow of asanas (postures) including Sun Salutations. These classes are creative and fun, linking breath and movement together improving strength with flexibility while allowing individuals find alignment that works in their bodies. Classes are taught based on themes with backgrounds rooted in either Traditional Chinese Medicine or around the seasonal cycles of the Celtic wheel or around the Myths & Philosophies of the Ancient Indian principles. Weaving in elements from various styles of yoga and other mixed movement practices these classes focus on strengthening, building stamina, stability and bringing balance to the body & mind. Through this powerful connection of body & mind, these classes can help lower stress levels, promote health, flexibility & strength, and a feeling of well-being.
If you are pregnant, have a medical condition or a recent injury, it can be challenging to do certain types of yoga, specific poses, or breathing techniques so we recommended consulting with your doctor before beginning yoga.

The Summer Solstice marks the brightest day of the year. We will gather together in the morning on Baginbun (in case of bad weather it will be in the dome) to do 108 sun salutations to mark the occasion.
Why 108 Sun Salutations?
The practice of Surya Namaskara (Sun Salutations) honors the life giving force of the sun and the sequences are moving meditations that honors the inner light that radiates from within.
The number 108 is considered a sacred number in yogic traditions and in Vedic culture viewed as a number that represents the wholeness of existence. The individual numbers 1, 0, and 8 represent one thing, nothing, and everything (infinity).
So join us for this special morning! It will be fun, meditative, and sweaty. Please note: 108 is not mandatory, and if you feel you’ve done enough you can just rest and join in again when you’re ready. The entire practice will take around 90 minutes and will be lead & counted by Gemma & Niamh.

While this class is challenging, each exercise is done at your own pace, the number of repetitions will be by discretion of each participant. Myo-fascial release and yin yoga are both powerful practices and even more so when combined into one practice. Having studied and practiced both yin yoga and myo-fascial release techniques separately for many years, putting them together is a perfect combination to work both the muscular and fascial systems, ironing out any stuckness to create more space and freedom in the body and mind. Combining roll and release techniques with the deep long held postures of Yin yoga helps to free your movement limitations while developing muscular flexibility as well as increasing circulation and mobility in your joints. This myo-yin fusion will help to relieve muscular aches and pains allowing you to move more freely, expanding your range of motion and promoting the free flow of energy through the whole body.
This class is for all levels and ideal for anyone looking to unwind, release and let go of tension and tightness from the body. Enjoy a full day of nourishment for mind & body, learning the beautiful ancient philosophy of Ayurveda. We learn and understand each constitution by moving through yoga practices to balance the doshas, we will do creative activities to connect to the elements and be nourished with delicious lunch, juices and desert.
A day of trying different styles of yoga such as Hatha, kundalini and yin yoga with gentle assists and fun variations to try, widening your range of practice in addition to meditation, relaxation and breathwork.

Enjoy Ayurvedic talks, creative activities, yoga while learning all about dosha’s & your unique constitution.
Learn how to bring yourself back into balance with Yoga, meditation, breath-work, rituals and self care practices for your wellbeing.
Eat delicious, organic and fresh vegetarian food and juices.
Receive a goody bag full of surprises on the day too.

Schedule for the day
Arrive 10:30am - Freshly squeezed juice tasters on arrival and a tour around the gardens
10:45am - Welcome to the dome breath-work meditation
11am - Introduction to the doshas / take the dosha survey & learn the meaning behind each dosha & how it relates to your own personal make up
12noon - Yoga for each dosha / learn how your practice affects each dosha & how you can bring awareness & balance to your yoga practice
1:30pm - Vegetarian lunch in the garden or marquee cooked with the freshest local and on site ingredients for an overall balancing & healing meal (all vegetarian & gluten free)
2pm - Mindfulness barefoot walk & breathing exercise in the garden to aid digestion
2:15pm - Creating an elemental wall hanging or cordage bracelet out of natural materials. We provide lots of materials to choose from but you can also bring your own bits that you can weave into your own piece
2:45 - A slow flow and yin yoga sequence for the doshas in the dome or garden
3:30pm - Juices and raw vegan desserts to close

Enjoy a full day of nourishment for mind & body, learning the beautiful ancient philosophy of Ayurveda. We learn and understand each constitution by moving through yoga practices to balance the doshas, we will do creative activities to connect to the elements and be nourished with delicious lunch, juices and desert.
A day of trying different styles of yoga such as Hatha, kundalini and yin yoga with gentle assists and fun variations to try, widening your range of practice in addition to meditation, relaxation and breathwork.
