Curating Calm in Yoga (Workshop) Waitlist

Description

This will be a 90 minute yoga class including practice, pranayama (breath practice) and meditation. We will generate 2 qualities in this class; Sukham which means creating spacious ease in our practice and Stirham which means steadiness, stability and calm. I will encourage these in each pose. Our outcome will be a deeper awareness of the dance between all that is changing in life; Patanjali (master of yoga) says asana practiced methodically will increase our ability to stay centered in the mix of life so we feel less impact from the turbulence that may be happening around us. Poses will be held longer to help us generate awareness and stability which in turn helps stop the spinning nature of our minds.
