Description
Ages 6-12
During this time, our classes will be held online. An email with the registration link will be sent no later than 15 minutes prior to the start of class. They will be interactive where we can see your kids and you kids can see everyone in our class!
This will be the new normal for now but we, as a community, will get through this together. Now, more than ever, our kids need to learn how to ease anxiety, learn coping mechanisms and ways to control what goes on INSIDE because the reality of life, is we cannot control what goes on outside
Despite what some may think, Yoga is not just for girls. There’s a reason that major sports teams and athletes, such as The New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles, are incorporating Yoga into their traditionally rigorous training regimens. Did you know that Shaquille O’Neal, former NBA player, turned to Yoga as a way to help preserve his body for his career?
Yoga helps develop body awareness, increase flexibility, build muscle, feel part of a healthy, non competitive group, build self esteem, manage stress and increase concentration and focus. All of these benefits have the capability to flow into our boys’ every day lives, both in the classroom and at home.
This class is specifically for boys to come to a judgment free class, learn to increase flexibility and muscle in both mind and body, which will help in other sports and areas of life.
