Ashtanga Yoga is a structured, vigorous style of yoga that places an emphasis on breath, bandhas (the energetic locks of the body), and drishti (focused gaze). Each class begins and ends with Sanskrit chanting. Beginners welcome and modifications offered, but be prepared to sweat and breathe deeply.
