Leah Conner
Leah (E-RYT 200, RYT 500) has practiced yoga, off and on, for 25 years, but in 2018 decided to gain more knowledge about the actual history and lifestyle of yoga by pursuing her 200-hour teacher training. She loved the training so much that in 2019, she completed another round of training and is now a registered 500-hour instructor. Her desire is to bring positive energy and compassion to the mat for everyone from beginner level to advanced. Leah loves the ancient teachings and sharing how yoga can help with healing both physically and mentally, from physical and/or emotional trauma, and how yoga is a powerful tool for achieving overall health. Yoga is wonderful exercise, but there is so much more to gain than physical fitness! Leah is certified in Yin, Restorative and Trauma Informed Yoga. In addition, she is a certified practitioner as a Life Coach and Emotional Body Mapping. Email Leah to schedule a life-coaching or private session.
Description
Wednesday, December 21 from 6:00-7:30 pm with Leah and DeAnna

Join Leah and DeAnna for a special Winter Solstice and New Moon class Yuletide Yin & Yoga Nidra on Wednesday, December 21 from 6:00-7:30 pm. As a special treat, Leah and DeAnna will team up to offer you a class to help you through the holiday season. Yin Yoga utilizes asanas (postures) that are held for a longer period of time in a passive stretch to help soften and stretch deep layers of tissue. The yin practice will be followed by a 30-minute Yoga Nidra session where you will be guided through a body scan and meditation to find a blissful, relaxed state. This class will include your choice of hot butter rum or hot cider.
Cost is $15 for drop ins or $5 for those with punch cards or passes.

This class will take the place of Open Flow that evening.
