Description
Discover the calming and invigorating benefits of Yin Yoga, a practice that focuses on deep stretches and mindful stillness. In this class, poses are held for up to five minutes, targeting the connective tissues, ligaments, and joints to improve flexibility, increase circulation, and promote mobility.
Yin Yoga offers a meditative approach to practice, encouraging you to slow down, tune in, and cultivate inner focus. By holding poses longer, you'll have the opportunity to release tension, enhance joint health, and stimulate the body's natural healing processes. This class is perfect for anyone looking to balance an active lifestyle, deepen their flexibility, or create a moment of tranquility in their day. Leave feeling centered, flexible, and serene.
At One Soul, we believe yoga is for everybody and you do not have to be “bendy” or “stretchy” to practice. Our studio and instructors are from a trauma-informed lineage, which means we lead classes that nurture and challenge you in a safe and non-judgmental way. Variations of poses are given in each class to make our classes accessible regardless if you are new to yoga or more experienced. Our yoga studio is intentionally free of mirrors, encouraging you to focus on how your practice feels rather than how it appears. Your mat is your personal sanctuary, a space to connect with yourself and your journey.
