DeAnna McDearmont is a co-owner of One Soul Yoga & Wellness Center in Sulphur Springs, TX and a dedicated Trauma Informed E-RYT 500, YACEP-certified yoga instructor, serving as the lead trainer for Yoga Teacher Training programs. She is a passionate yoga and sound facilitator dedicated to empowering others on their journey to wellness and self-discovery. As a certified practitioner of Biofield Tuning and Sound Healing, she uses the transformative power of sound and energy to support profound release and shifts in the subtle body. DeAnna brings a wealth of experience and a nurturing approach to every class, retreat, and sound healing session she facilitates at One Soul. Holding additional certifications in Kundalini, Meditation, Yin, Restorative, and Trauma-Informed practices, DeAnna blends compassion and expertise in her teaching and offers safe, accessible and nurturing practices for all levels. She empowers students to explore their unique needs by encouraging body awareness and connection with body and mind. Her teaching philosophy integrates ancient wisdom with modern techniques, inspiring students to deepen their understanding of yoga, sound, and energy work.  With a heart-centered approach, DeAnna’s mission is to hold space for personal growth, healing, and connection through yoga, meditation, and sound. She offers group yoga classes, sound baths and private Biofield Tuning/tuning fork and sound sessions at One Soul.

Yoga 101: Mind over Mat(ter)
Sunday, February 2 from 4:00-5:30 pm with Rachel, $20

Though yoga has many physical benefits and can be a lifelong practice of self-discovery, beginning or re-starting a yoga practice may be intimidating to some people for a variety of reasons. Join us at One Soul in a space of self-acceptance and non-judgment for a back-to-the-basics introduction to yoga from 4:00-5:30 pm to learn why we practice yoga and to become familiar with fundamental yoga poses found in most yoga classes.

We will move through poses at a slower pace, focus on form, and learn techniques in order to be fully present on the mat and to remain consistent in a regular yoga practice. Whether you are new to yoga or wish to pick your practice back up, this workshop is suitable for ALL body types and fitness levels. One Soul Yoga always welcomes everybody and EVERY BODY.

This class is perfect for those new to yoga or looking to build a strong and confident foundation in a supportive and welcoming environment. No prior experience is necessary—just come as you are! Don’t have a mat? We have one for you to borrow.
