Description
On 21st June we will start the longest day of the year with that special ritual to honor the energy of the Sun, which provides us warmth and light. The Summer Solstice day marks the first day of the summer.
108 is a sacred number in the ancient traditions with plenty of symbolic meanings behind, and it also connects the Sun, Moon and Earth together.
Sun Salutations are great to make some stagnant energy moving in the body, to detoxify and energize yourself and to learn how to synchronize the movement and the breath together.
108 repetition might sound a lot for the first, but don't think that you need to physically complete them all. You will always have the opportunity to stay in Child Pose and rest, or stay in Mountain Pose and visualize the movement only mentally with closed eyes.
Please bring your own mat with you!
