In this Mindfulness Meditation class, I will be introducing you to a variety of mindfulness meditation practices. This class is perfect for beginners or practitioners alike.
Depending on the subject I have planned for class, I may include one or two meditations. I will always guide you in the meditations with prompts.
After we conclude our practice, I invite you to a mindful sharing of our experiences. I am always happy to answer any questions that you may have about your meditation practice.
30-45 minutes depending on questions and comments.

Sabine Lang RYT 500 has been practicing yoga, meditation for many years, but really started her Karma Yoga teaching practice during Covid. Her main training is in Vinyasa and Gentle Flow based Yoga as well as Mediation and Yoga Nidra and Autogenic Training.
Description
This Yoga class is a sweet and gentle blend of Yoga Styles ending in a 10 to 15 min relaxing and restoring Yoga Nidra and designed for the ones among us with busy and active lifestyles especially if you have been feeling a little tense or pressed for time.
In the first part of the class, we are starting down on our mats, holding poses for slightly longer periods of time, targeting the connective tissues of the body to help release deeply stored tension. It is often experienced as deeply meditative, as it invites the practitioner to completely release and let go.
From there we will be moving slowly up with a breath-based gentle Vinyasa flow to build mind/ body strength and flexibility, challenging balance and concentration, and harnessing that energy to promote inner stillness and peace.
At the end of the class of about 50 min there is a choice to quietly leave after a short savasana or stay for a brief 10 to 15 min Yoga Nidra , which is the practice of yogic sleep , a guided meditation technique, which utilizes various practices of body, breath, mind, energy & spirit to draw individuals into deeper and subtler states of being where total relaxation and peace and profound healing becomes available. A nourishing and grounding practice, that does not require any extra preparation or knowledge, Nidra is the perfect way to round out your practice and return to your busy life peaceful, rejuvenated and restored.
This class is suitable for anybody basic fitness level and up, who does not have any contraindication to exercise or practice yoga. Throughout the class suggestions for modifications will be provided for you to meet your body where it is at in the present time.
Please bring a mat and a blanket / towel and a water bottle and any props you might have (Blocks / bolsters, to support your practice when called for.

In our Friday sessions, we will be focused on Metta (loving-kindness) during our offering of Vipassana or “Insight” Meditation. This practice emphasizes mindful attention to the breath, physical sensations, thoughts, and even emotions, to develop a loving awareness of one’s life experience. Loving-Kindness, Compassion, Joy and Equanimity practices are at times added to the meditation. It varies each session.

This Yoga class is a sweet and gentle blend of Yoga Styles ending and designed for the ones among us with busy and active lifestyles especially if you have been feeling a little tense or pressed for time. We are warming up slowly and working through a brief one breath one movement flow to get you ready for the weekend, perfect for a busy lifestyle.
This class is suitable for anybody basic fitness level and up, who does not have any contraindication to exercise or practice yoga. Throughout the class suggestions for modifications will be provided for you to meet your body where it is at in the present time.
Please bring a mat and a blanket / towel and a water bottle and any props you might have (Blocks / bolsters, to support your practice when called for.

Hi, my name is Mourning Dove, and I feel so blessed to share my offerings at Peaceful Wellness Studio, a truly magical space infused with so much beautiful energy.
I’ve been guiding self love and deep inner connection circles, workshops, and rituals along with private and small group sessions through Surrender Within since 2017. I’m a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance, have completed trainings with Accessible Yoga School, and am certified in Vinyasa, Yoga for All, Emotional Freedom Reiki, and other healing modalities.
Prioritizing self care and deep inner work, while fostering a loving relationship with myself has transformed the way I navigate hardships and intensities in life, how I show up in my relationships, and my ability to cultivate empathy for myself and others. I love creating nurturing spaces to make it easier for others to do this beautiful work, too. I provide lots of options and encourage autonomy throughout each class or session, so you get to honor what works best for your body and mind, as you progress along your own unique journey.
