Acting as the yin to the yang, Deep Stretch lends balance to an active lifestyle—however, it is not the official Yin and Yang style of practice. We take a more active-passive approach, with poses held slightly longer (passive) after gently warming them up (active).
Classes are intentionally sequenced to target all major joint rotations, stimulating marma points (vital energy points), while activating the entire system to create greater harmony through the sustained flow of energy.
This is an beginner to intermediate level practice and is generally sequenced in a mandala fashion (turning every direction of the mat). All are welcome, regardless of your level or experience! Several options will be offered along the way to accommodate the various levels of practitioners, including modifications and intensifications (always optional).
