About Rooted in Calm
My yoga journey began during a long cold winter twelve years ago in Montreal, the yoga was hot and I was cold. For a time I oscillated between stringent dedication and mediocre dabbling, then the desire to strengthen my self-practice led me to teacher training. I had no idea the profound effect it would have on me, igniting a deep-seated passion.
I love the simplicity of yoga.
Yoga in the form of movement and meditation are the perfect additions to Rooted in Calm, where I help my clients claim time for themselves, creating space a calm space to get clear on what they truly want, helping them cultivate a lifestyle that truly reflects what matters most and brings them happiness.
Supporting and encouraging conscious decision-making, and providing simple strategies that support their values so they can live authentically. In addition to being a Yoga Alliance certified teacher, I am a certified NLP Master Practitioner, Emotional Intelligence, and Motivational Coach.
I believe that calm is a superpower.
My style both on and off the mat is relaxed, inclusive, and attentive. There is a laid-back vibe to my classes which creates the space to let our guard down, laugh, and strengthen our
body-mind connection and rejuvenate ourselves through the practice.
