Kim Blackie
Kim has practised yoga for more than ten years, finding it a space to discover stillness and reconnect with herself. During a life changing solo journey to Bali, she immersed herself deeply in yoga both on and off the mat. Through her practice, she found a sense of returning home and felt inspired to begin her Yoga Teacher Training.
Kim is currently completing her 350-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Perth. Drawing from her own lived experience, she looks forward to guiding students through nourishing practices that create space to slow down, reconnect, rest and restore.
Description
Restorative Yin Yoga is a slow, nourishing practice designed to help you deeply relax and unwind. Postures are held for longer periods and supported with props, allowing the body to soften while gently stretching the deeper connective tissues.
Through mindful movement, breath awareness, and stillness, this class supports nervous system regulation, stress relief, and deep rest. Suitable for all levels, especially those seeking calm, balance, and restoration.
