Heather Todd
Heather began yoga by practicing Bikram yoga in Chicago, IL after seeking respite from a hectic work life and overstimulated nervous system. A natural transition brought her to discover vinyasa and ashtanga yoga, leading to a deeper exploration of the themes and practices of yogic philosophy. The habit quickly took hold and by 2011 she had completed her first teacher training, eventually re-certifying in 2022. She settled in St. Petersburg in 2018 and by early 2020 was seeking out a studio to begin teaching locally. 2 years and one little family later she has found her way to Salty Souls Yoga. Heather’s style is rooted in traditional, vinyasa-themed asana movement, with a focus on pranayama, energy flow, self-care and personal challenges on and off the mat. Heather is a certified 200RYT, a certified yogic wellness coach, certified crystal therapist and holds an ayurvedic specialist certification.
