My yogic journey is one born out of trauma and suffering. After ten years of football, and 20 years of severe anxiety, my mind and body were reaching a breaking point. With miraculous timing, this is when I found Yoga. I went into my yoga teacher training with the simple desire to open up my terribly tight hips, and I came out on a newfound quest for Self-Realization. The most impactful thing I have learned is the power of the Breath. Learning how to breathe has changed my life, and opened my world to the joy of experience, a beautiful gift.
Description
PranaVayu Yoga- ‘Prana’, ‘Energy’, ‘Chi’ or our ‘Vital Life Force’. Prana flows through these energetic currents in our bodies both physically and energetically. These channels travel predominantly through the movement of Wind or Vayu. There are five main Prana Vayus, five Sub-Vayus and many more that exist all around us.
This class will gently guide us through specific postures, breath techniques and repetitive movements to enhance the flow of Prana through these channels of Wind creating fluidity, stability, calmness and an inner strength. All levels of practitioners are welcome!
