Sam Alexander-Vasey
Sam is a yoga teacher, immersive workshop leader, reiki practitioner, mentor and coach. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance and completed her initial yoga teacher training at a beautiful residential training school in Rishikesh. She is particularly interested in exploring how yogic principles, practices and lifestyle can be used in the West as a way of creating greater peace, fulfilment, belonging and joy in a world that sometimes feels set up to put these things perpetually just beyond our reach.

Description

Self-enquiry is an investigation into the nature of Self, inspired by the question "who am I?" It is a method of recognising and connecting with our essential nature, outside of the usual distractions of experiences and identities. In this recognition we directly experience that we are whole, peaceful and pristine. We see that what we are looking for is already within.

The session will consist of an initial opportunity to check-in and ask questions, followed by a guided self-enquiry practice. There will then be time at the end of the session to share your experiences (if you want to) and to further integrate your experience through asking any questions that have arisen.

Please note:
This class will be recorded as part of my training as a Simran Meditation Facilitator. The recording will be shared with Navid Zargham as part of my assessment, but will not be shared publicly. By signing up to the class, you are giving your consent to be part of this recorded session.
This is a donation-based class. This means you are very welcome to attend the class for free, but if you would like to make a donation, you will be able to do this via a link emailed to you following the class.
