Description
Meridian Yoga is the application of the meridian system, based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, combined with asana practice to help dive deeper in to the subtle energy body and into one's asana practice. This methodology is used in traditional yin practices. Extreme yin is longer hold times in more active, or yang, style poses (e.g. 5 min. wheel). This class uses a combination of tapping, fascia stretching, sound technique, asana, pranayama, and meditation to explore the inner working of the subtle energy body, and to release physical and emotional tension. Blankets, blocks and straps are on hand, feel to free to bring any other props you may need. Room is warmed at 85 degrees.
