Karlijn started yoga 12 years ago and teaches yin, gentle flow and vinyasa at Be.you.tiful by Sevi Studio. Her yoga is accessible to beginners as well as yogi's with experiences. The classes help you to get into your body, be playful, and get healthy all at the same time. Karlijn works with clear cues to help you get into poses in a safe and aligned way, making it accessible also to older people and people that have just started yoga.
Description
Yin is the perfect yoga to get into your body and calm down your muscles after a busy day. It is slow-paced practice with long, deep stretches that increase mobility and flexibility. This practice is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, connecting 4000 year old knowledge to here and now. After class, you’ll feel lighter and more relaxed. This practice is perfect for you if you want more flexibility and are curious to learn more about meditation and tuning in with your body.
The temperature is around 25 degrees, keeping your muscles warm and soft, to help you relaxed to stay in poses for longer (4-5 minutes). During the practice there will be blocks to support you in poses whenever needed, the teacher will assist you to practice in a safe and comfortable way.
