Description
This course will help you develop awareness and connect with your body while healing from trauma. Yoga and mindfulness practices have been proven to be effective modalities on this journey. Spira is a trauma survivor, art and yoga teacher and has been using yoga, mindfulness, art, and other somatic modalities in her own personal healing and is excited to share this practice with you. It's VERY gentle and easily accessible. You can practice on your mat, on a chair, or even standing. You don't have to be flexible or look a certain way. This is not a workout or fitness program. We are simply connecting with our bodies, calming the nervous system, increasing proprioception and interoception, and building resilience and self-acceptance.
