My classes and workshops are mixture of fun, hard work and ultimate relaxation. I just LOVE teaching our Sunshine and Soul community!
Iām passionate in my role as a trauma-informed practitioner and believe that practicing yoga & fitness massively helps with both mental and physical health.
As an ex-dancer, my classes combine creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and banging playlists; focusing on the breath as the bridge between the mind, body and soul. I want to help you get strong, subtle and FEEL GOOD!
Iām a mama to my amazing little girl and would love to share my passion for yoga and all of its benefits with other mums - hence the creation of āNOT JUST A MUM CLUB.ā
Becoming a mama is life changing and tough and magical all rolled into one, so trust me when I say...I GET IT! Yoga is one of the tools that helps me come back home to myself and find a place of calm and connection; plus practising with my little angel really helps strengthen our bond...I cannot WAIT to share that with you too!
Description
āBaby and Meā Yoga Classes at Sunshine & Soul Studio are designed for mums to come and practice Yoga, while your little one has a play or sleep.
At NOT JUST A MUM CLUB you'll practise Yoga to help your body and mind recover from childbirth and get you out of the house to meet other mums and babies!
You'll build strength, balance and coordination through a gentle Yoga practice whilst taking some time JUST FOR YOU (because you deserve it mama!)
These classes are 75 minutes in length and your session includes a HOT coffee & time to hang out afterwards for a chat with the other mamas and babas.
Aimed at mums who would like to try out or get back into Yoga, but don't have time with their little ones to get to a class - now you can bring them with you and enjoy the practice together.
Please know that NOT JUST A MUM CLUB is a safe, welcoming group where anything goes...crying, feeding, sleeping are most definitely welcome hereā¦and not just from the babiesš
Suitable for all levels & abilitiesā¦beginners welcomed!
If you have given birth recently, please wait until your 6 week postnatal check with your GP to start exercise, however there is no rush so depending on your birth I advise beginning when you feel ready.
(General NHS advice is 6 weeks for a vaginal birth & 12 weeks for a C-section or birth with complications - however check in with your doctor if youāre unsure)
Sign up to our Autumn term - a four-week block from Monday 5th September - Monday 26th September or drop in for £12.50 per session.
Once registered, you'll be sent a 'pre-course questionnaire' to complete before the first class. This will aid the teacher in preparing for you and your little one's arrival! :)
Ps. IS THIS JUST FOR MUMāS?
These sessions are for anyone who wants to do something for themselves and bring their little one alongā¦.which is why this is Not āJUSTā a Mum Club!! If your a Mummy or a Daddy or even a Grandparent/Auntie/Carer whoās looking after a small one these classes are for you!
At Sunshine and Soul Studio your mat and any additional props are all included in the price...simply turn up with your beautiful self (& your baby) and relax!

A high intensity flow that will get your blood flowing and your body moving to get you ready for the week ahead. Start your Monday with energy and vitality!
This class focuses on building strength, stamina, and flexibility in the physical body. Each class starts with a flowing series to warm up the spine and heat up the body, followed by a series of held postures to build strength, stability, and stamina. Class ends with gentle stretches to improve flexibility.

My name is Anna and Iāve been practicing yoga for roughly 8 years. It has always been a passion of mine and has helped me mentally through a continuous journey.
2 years ago I completed 200 hours of Vinyasa Yoga training and more recently completed my 50 hour Yin training this year, which has helped me build awareness of another aspect in yoga.

These classes are 75 minutes in length. Classes start with a Hello Circle to help women to feel Seen, Heard & Acknowledged in their pregnancy - this helps Jade to tailor the classes to your individual needs each week and gives everyone a chance to get to know one-another, helping to form friendships with the other mamas to be.
You will be invited to relax in to the class with a Quiet Arrival, followed by lots of lovely, gentle movement in different seated positions.
You will guided through different moves and breathing techniques that are really useful in birthing, giving you all of the tools to be prepared for birthing your baby.
Classes finish with a guided meditation, giving you the chance to really relax and wind down, check in with yourself and your babies and zone out.
Pregnancy yoga sessions may help to ease common pregnancy ailments such as achy back/ hips/ pelvis, heartburn/ indigestion, constipation, carpel tunnel, fatigue and more, providing you with some much needed relief.
Jades classes are on a Saturday morning from 10:30 - 11:45am and Tuesday evening from 6:30 - 7:45pm.
No experience is necessary and all kit is provided.
Booking is essential as spaces are limited.

Suggestions to assist you in making changes to unwanted behaviours such as low confidence, anxiety etc. All hypnosis is self hypnosis, the hypnotherapist simple guides you!
It's important to note that you are in control at all times and can take yourself out of the "trance" at any point. You can not get stuck in hypnosis and is deemed a safe form of therapy or relaxation āØ

At NOT JUST A MUM CLUB you'll practise Yoga to help your body and mind recover from childbirth and get you out of the house to meet other mums and babies! You'll build strength, balance and coordination through a gentle Yoga practice whilst taking some time JUST FOR YOU (because you deserve it mama!)
These classes are 75 minutes in length and your session includes a HOT coffee & time to hang out afterwards for a chat with the other mamas and babas.
Aimed at mums who would like to try out or get back into Yoga, but don't have time with their little ones to get to a class - now you can bring them with you and enjoy the practice together.
Please know that NOT JUST A MUM CLUB is a safe, welcoming group where anything goes...crying, feeding, sleeping are most definitely welcome hereā¦and not just from the babiesš
Suitable for all levels & abilitiesā¦beginners welcomed!
If you have given birth recently, please wait until your 6 week postnatal check with your GP to start exercise, however there is no rush so depending on your birth I advise beginning when you feel ready.
(General NHS advice is 6 weeks for a vaginal birth & 12 weeks for a C-section or birth with complications - however check in with your doctor if youāre unsure)
Sign up to our Autumn term - a four-week block from Friday 9th September - Friday 30th September or drop in for £12.50 per session.
Once registered, you'll be sent a 'pre-course questionnaire' to complete before the first class. This will aid the teacher in preparing for you and your little one's arrival! :)

Welcome š. I have practised yoga for 6 years and enjoy all aspects of yoga from movement to meditation.
I am also a rock climber and I originally started to practise yoga in order to improve my flexibility when climbing. This most definitely helped my flexibility, but also opened my eyes to a whole new world of body movement and mindfulness.
I quickly began to learn that my awareness of breathing was none existent. So I began a journey of learning how to breath again, and when connecting this breathwork with body movement, it creates an overwhelming feeling of relaxation and calmness within the body and the mind.
I decided I wanted to teach others what i had learnt, so that they can benefit and improve their physical health and mental wellbeing.
Description
This class focuses on the movement of the body and the breath; working on mobility, joint stability, balance and core strength...All whilst bringing awareness to how we feel within ourselves.
Suitable for all levels, including complete beginners.

Classes start with a Hello Circle to help women to feel Seen, Heard & Acknowledged in their pregnancy - this helps Jade to tailor the classes to your individual needs each week and gives everyone a chance to get to know one-another, helping to form friendships with the other mamas to be.
You will be invited to relax in to the class with a Quiet Arrival, followed by lots of lovely, gentle movement in different seated positions.
You will guided through different moves and breathing techniques that are really useful in birthing, giving you all of the tools to be prepared for birthing your baby.
Classes finish with a guided meditation, giving you the chance to really relax and wind down, check in with yourself and your babies and zone out.
Pregnancy yoga sessions may help to ease common pregnancy ailments such as achy back/ hips/ pelvis, heartburn/ indigestion, constipation, carpel tunnel, fatigue and more, providing you with some much needed relief.
Jades classes are on a Saturday morning from 10:30 - 11:45am and Tuesday evening from 6:30 - 7:45pm.
No experience is necessary and all kit is provided.
Booking is essential as spaces are limited.
