Tension is your body's way of protecting itself against any stress, be it physical or mental.

If you don't do anything to release the tension in areas of the body such as shoulders, neck and lower back it can lead to a range of painful conditions, start to limit your range of motion and even affect your sleep. Trust me, I know from experience!

This two hour workshop at Prana Yoga Studio, Hamilton will see us use yin and some yang yoga to help to release tension in the whole body and provide you with some postures you can do at home to ease your body.

One of the many benefits of yin yoga is that it can work deeper into the body. Pranayama, meditation and rounded off by a relaxing Yoga Nidra will help you feel more at ease and relaxed.

The workshop starts at 1.30 pm and finishes at 3.30pm. This session is suitable for all levels and beginners are welcome.

Spaces are limited in the studio and it will be online too by request.
